Finding Hair Styles to go with Your Prom Dresses

Prom night is the big day for prom girl, you can get inspired by some romantic, trendy and classic hairstyles. No matter what kind of vibe you look for, choosing a hairstyle to match your prom look is important. Firstly, I will illustrate several hairstyles, which are roman ponytail, sleek twist, and silky curls.

First of all, roman ponytail, the left one on the the above picture. How to get the look? You should comb your hair back into a sleek ponytail at the crown of your head and using a fine-tooth comb to help smooth amy bumps. Then dip your fingertips into a pomade and lightly run them over your hair. Finally, tie a metallic piece of silk cord around the base of your pony, leaving two long pieces on either side. Crisscross them down the length of your pony. When you get to the end, wrap them around tightly a few times, knot the cord, then snip the excess. This style is simple, you can have a try on your own hands. For this hair style, you can try a halt prom dress or a strapless, and the color of the silk cord should match the dresses you choose.

The following one is sleek twist. Firstly, blow-dry your hair straight, using an anti-frizz cream or gel to keep it smooth and add hole, then part it on the side. Secondly, split your hair into pigtails, and begin twisting each side, starting from your temples and working you way back. As you reach the nape of your neck, twist hair tighter until it coils against itself. Use bobby pins to secure the coils against the back of your head.
Finally, mist all over with shimmer spray, like Sam Brocato Shimmer Pearlescent Spray, which contains actual pearlescent flecks so you really sparkle!

The last one is double-Knotted Updo. To have this look, you should give your hair grip so the knots don't slide out: Run a dollop of volumizing cream through damp hair, then give it a rough blow-dry for texture. Then divide hair horizontally at the back of your head, and form two ponytails. (Position one a little higher than the other.) Finally,Twist each pony into a messy bun, and secure with pins. Finish with a shot of hairspray for all-night hold.
